Treehouse architect makes last-minute bid for Vision slate

September 8th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Andrew Dewberry, the man who became famous across the country for his fight with the city over a treehouse he built, showed up on Friday afternoon and threw his name in the ring to try to get on the Vision Vancouver council slate.

That makes him number 17 in the very competitive race that is fraught with a lot of tensions over alliances, lists, and more.

In spite of that, Dewberry paid his $1,000 fee (what the party is charging council candidates as their entry fee) to get in.
